*Please email us prior to collection as these are stored in a specific area within the farm and are filled to order*.

We can load our bulk bags onto a trailer or you can handball into a boot. Please contact us first to discuss.

HARDWOOD & LARCH GRAB NETS
Our chunky 10" logs are packed into convenient to carry nets of Firewood. They are approximately 1-10kgs in weight and are better value for money than you can buy in the supermarket.

MISFITS!
Our misfits are kiln-dried logs that didn't quite have the gusto to get into our grab nets.

The wood within these bags varies in size but mostly they are smaller "runt of the litter" wedges which are ideal for a small to medium stoves. That being said, please don't let the size of the wood put you off! It is still kiln-dried and amazing quality, it just doesn't look quite so pretty or uniform as the larger logs do!

Misfit nets are larger than our grab nets & have proven to be VERY popular so if there is a net of it available when you visit, why not grab a bargain?!

The following Roaring Bear Heat Logs are available for collection:

WILDFIRE HEAT LOGS
Burntime: Upto 1 hour flame, 2-3 smoulder heat.
Size: Approx 6" x 3" x 3"
Heat Output: 4.8kwh
Suitable For: Small, Medium & Large log burners & fires. Sold in packs of 12.

WHAT ARE ROARING BEAR HEAT-LOGS?
Roaring Bear Heat Logs (aka eco briquettes, high heat logs etc etc) are made from 100% clean compressed wood-chip or sawdust. Wood-waste is saved and recycled and turned into these super compressed logs which give out a high heat output!

They can be used on their own or with traditional firewood. Using heat-logs can significantly reduce your standard firewood consumption!

Please note all burn times are approximate & issued for guidance only. Burn time for your stove may differ due to make, model, age, airflow etc and so forth.

We simply cannot emphasise the importance of Kindling & Waxlings for starting your fire. Kindling & waxlings get your stove upto optimum heat fast, vastly reducing any creosote build up.

KINDLING INFO: Our nets are around 3kg in weight.

NATURAL FIRE-STARTER INFO
Our 100% Natural Beeswax & woodwool Long Burning Natural Firestarters burn for around 10 mins. Generally only 1 is required to start your fire if using kindling.

Packaging: Hessian / Jute reusable sack.

CHOCOLATE BAR STYLE FIRESTARTERS
These natural firestarters give great value for money. They are made from compressed FSC wood-fibre and burn for around 10 minutes. Only 1 or 2 are required to start your fire with kindling.

MAGIC FLAMES
Neat wee packets that create an plethora of norther light style colours when placed in your fire! Great for the kids (& big kids) alike!

Open 24/7 - 7 days a week. Generally it is best to collect from 9am - 5pm.

DIRECTIONS
From the A92 North or South turn off at Upper Victoria heading towards Carnoustie. Opposite the DJ Laing development there is a small single tracked road leading to the farm. Follow this road as it bends to the right.

You will shortly see trees on the left. Please slow right down here as there is a blind bend and children and animals in the farmyard.

AS YOU ENTER THE YARD THERE IS A CARTSHED ON YOUR LEFT HAND SIDE WITH A BUILDING WITH A DOOR & WINDOW - THIS IS WHERE YOU NEED TO BE! (see phots above)

It is recommended to leave by the same road.
