ABOUT OUR KILN-DRIED BIRCH

Silver Birch is an affordable hot burning firewood with a high heat output.

10" LOGS: Our logs are cut upto around 10" in length, are under 20% moisture level and ready to burn from the moment they are delivered.

Birch is suitable for wood burning stoves & open fires alike.

Please note - You may receive some smaller or larger logs than stated. This is unavoidable due to the nature of processing & is common in the firewood industry.

ABOUT OAK

Oak is widely regarded as a premium firewood due to it's very long burn-time and high heat output. In fact it is one of the hottest burning woods available in the UK.

Approx 10" Logs: Our Oak is cut up-to around 10" in length (you may receive some smaller or larger pieces due to the nature of firewood manufacture).

Oak can spark so a good fireguard is thoroughly recommended!

Your firewood will be in your hands approximately 5-7 working days from order placement.

FIREWOOD CRATE DELIVERY IS TO KERBSIDE ONLY.

Please ensure the drop off point has a hard surface without gradients. Some courier drivers may wheel your firewood into your driveway if conditions are suitable, however this should not be an expectation of delivery. The pallets cannot be wheeled onto rough ground, gravel etc so please ensure a flat area for deposit.

OUR LOGS ARE READY TO BURN FROM DELIVERY

Our Firewood is Kiln-Dried, Sustainably Sourced & cut to around 10" in length which is suitable for the vast majority of fires & wood burning stoves.

We are regulated by the Woodsure "Ready to Burn" Scheme & are also a Forestry Commission registered Professional Operator. The Firewood we supply is heavily vetted & guaranteed to come from sustainable sources, ensuring a vivid & bright countryside for future generations.

FAST & FREE SCOTTISH DELIVERY*

We can deliver our firewood to any mainland Scotland (or select Scottish Islands*) address that is accessible by an 18 tonne lorry & has an area of hand-standing to deposit the pallet.

We utilise a series of Freight Couriers to convey your firewood to your address. Please see the "Delivery Information" photograph above for more information.

*We deliver to Arran, Skye, Shetland, Orkney, Lewis & Harris as standard. Delivery Surcharges to these areas apply and are clearly visible on our Scottish Island section (there are never any hidden surcharges on our site, the prices you see are for a fully taxed & delivered item). We can arrange delivery to most other Scottish Islands. Please contact us for details.
