Kiln Dried Logs on location in the Angus Glens

Hardwood Log Delivery

Our hardwood log deliveries are typically made up of a selection from species such as Ash, Birch, Beech, Alder, Oak, and Sycamore. These woods are chosen for their excellent heat output, long burn times, and local sourcing (whenever possible).

Our hardwood log deliveries contain a good mix of the above, but they may not include every species listed. Occasionally, due to availability, a load might contain just one type of hardwood, but we do our best to avoid this. We always aim to provide quality and strong burning performance in our hardwood log deliveries.

Stovewood Log Delivery

Our Stovewood deliveries are composed exclusively from Scottish Larch. Larch Stovewood is one of the highest-performing softwoods available. With its dense grain and high heat output, larch burns hotter and longer than other softwoods like Fir or Pine making it a reliable choice for efficient home heating at an economical pricing point.

Larch provides a steady, clean-burning flame but is only suitable for enclosed log burners.

A Choice Of Log Sizes

We supply 10" logs as standard, but we also offer logs cut upto 8" that are ideal for customers with smaller log burners, compact stoves, and fireplaces.

Our 8" Hardwood is Birch only as this wood naturally grows with a slimmer profile. Our smaller logs are screened once. This is intentional as the aim of this product is to keep the smaller logs within your load, rather than screen them out. The result is a load that contains plenty of ready-to-burn, small-diameter logs that are perfect for compact stoves, albeit with some loose bark in your delivery (which makes ace kindling).

Kiln-Dried Hardwood & Stovewood Available To Dundee & Angus
