Ravensby Firewood has been supplying kiln-dried firewood to Scottish Island customers for over 2 years, with well over 100 pallet deliveries shipped to island homes and businesses during that time, including holiday lets, Airbnbs, hotels and restaurants.
We deliver selected island firewood products to areas including Lewis & Harris, Skye, Orkney, Shetland, Uist, Benbecula, Arran & Bute.
Our island firewood range includes palletised large crates of kiln-dried ash or birch, along with giant nets of larch stovewood or mixed hardwood.
Each product contains approximately 2m³ of firewood (equivalent to around 3 standard sized 0.7m3 bulk-bags) if tipped loose from its packaging, making them a practical bulk delivery option for island customers who want great quality kiln-dried logs delivered direct.
Our Scottish Island firewood range is built around practical bulk delivery by pallet courier. Instead of small bags or loose-tipped loads, we supply large palletised crates and giant nets that are suitable for island homes, holiday lets, Airbnbs, hotels, restaurants and other businesses that need reliable kiln-dried firewood delivered direct.
Our large firewood crates are available in kiln-dried ash or kiln-dried birch. Ash is a premium hardwood firewood known for a strong, steady burn and excellent heat output. Birch is a popular kiln-dried hardwood that lights easily, burns hot and gives a bright flame, making it a great choice for regular stove users.
We also supply giant nets of kiln-dried firewood. These are available in larch stovewood or mixed hardwood. Larch stovewood is a good-value option for customers using enclosed wood-burning stoves, while mixed hardwood is a reliable all-round choice for customers looking for longer-lasting kiln-dried logs.
Each large crate or giant net contains approximately 2m³ of firewood if tipped loose from its packaging. This gives island customers a proper bulk firewood delivery without needing to order lots of small bags throughout the season.
All island orders are shipped by pallet courier, so delivery works differently from our local loose-tipped firewood service. The firewood arrives packaged on a pallet or in its crate/net, and customers should make sure there is suitable, flat access for a pallet delivery vehicle (which is around the size of a bin lorry or larger).
Delivery costs are shown in full on each of the Island firewood pages.
