Firewood Grab Nets

At Ravensby Firewood, we supply handy 30-litre grab nets filled with quality Oak, Birch, Ash, Stovewood (Larch) or Hornbeam firewood.

Each net weighs around 10kg, making it easy to lift, carry and store. They can be neatly stowed in your car boot, making them ideal for topping up your log store or picking up firewood when you need it. Our logs should also last longer than logs purchased in a supermarket or garage forecourt.

Our Oak, Ash, Birch & Hornbeam logs are suitable for all wood burning uses - including in log burners, chimineas, fire pits, wood fired hot tubs, open fires and more. Our Stovewood (Larch) is suitable for enclosed log burners and wood burning stoves only as it has a tendency to spark.

Discounts available when 5 or more nets are ordered.

If you live in Dundee & Angus we can also deliver these to you - please see our Grab Net page for further details.

Roaring Bear Heat Logs

12 Heatlogs per pack · 6" long · 4.8kWh/kg · Made in the UK

Roaring Bear Heatlogs are dense, UK-made wood briquettes designed to provide powerful, consistent heat with very little fuss. Each pack contains 12 compact 6-inch heatlogs, producing an impressive heat output of approximately 4.8kWh/kg.

Made from compressed wood fibre with a low moisture content, they light easily once the fire is established and provide a steady, dependable burn. Their uniform shape also makes them clean to handle, simple to stack and far easier to store than loose logs.

Use them on their own or alongside traditional firewood whenever you want a quick boost of heat. They are suitable for log burners, multi-fuel stoves, open fires, chimineas and fire pits.

Heatlogs burn intensely, so start with a small number and add more gradually rather than overloading your fire.

Woodlets Heat Logs

5 Heatlogs per pack · 10" long · 4.8kWh/kg · Made in Scotland

Woodlets Heat Logs are dense, long-burning briquettes made in Scotland from 100% natural British wood. With a heat output of approximately 4.8kWh/kg and moisture content below 10%, they provide strong, consistent heat with minimal ash and smoke.

Each 10kg pack contains five substantial 10-inch heat logs. They can be used whole for a longer, steadier burn or easily broken into smaller pieces to suit compact stoves and smaller fires.

Woodlets are ideal for wood burners, multi-fuel stoves, open fires and outdoor fire pits. They can be burned on their own or added to an established fire whenever you want dependable heat without repeatedly loading ordinary logs.

Made without chemical additives, accelerants or artificial binders, Woodlets are also Ready to Burn registered and produced using timber sourced close to their Scottish manufacturing plant.

Kindling & Waxling Firestarters

50 natural firestarters per box · Large nets of dry kindling for quick, clean and reliable lighting of your fire

A good fire starts small. Waxlings provide a steady flame to ignite the kindling, while the smaller pieces of dry wood quickly build enough heat to light your full-sized logs. HETAS recommends using firelighters and kindling with space between the pieces so air can circulate freely.

  • Lights your fire faster
Dry kindling catches much more readily than a full-sized log, helping establish a strong flame without repeated relighting.

  • Warms the stove and flue quickly
A lively kindling fire helps the flue reach temperature and establish a proper draw, allowing your logs to ignite more cleanly with less smoky smouldering.

  • Helps keep stove glass cleaner
Bringing the fire up to an efficient burning temperature quickly can reduce the smoky start-up that contributes to soot deposits. Dry logs and the correct airflow remain essential for clean glass.

  • Clean and easy to use
Waxlings are made from natural pinewood wool coated in wax. They provide a quick light, long-lasting flame and virtually residue-free, odourless burning.
  • Creates better airflow
Loosely stacked kindling leaves space for oxygen to move around the flame, helping the fire grow rather than becoming smothered.

Suitable for log burners, open fires, chimineas, fire pits and barbecues.

Oak Our second best selling log, it's highly dense properties provide a long slow, steady heat. Best used after your fire is well established. Log Burners, Wood Burning Stoves, Oak can be used on open fires but it can spit. Best used after starting the fire with Birch or Stovewood as can take time to catch
