The price shown for Lewis & Harris firewood delivery is fully inclusive of VAT, shipping and delivery to your address. There are no hidden mainland delivery charges added later. Simply choose your preferred firewood and we do the rest!
All Lewis & Harris orders are delivered by freight pallet courier, not by our local delivery vehicles. Your firewood will arrive on a pallet as either a large crate or giant net, and the courier will normally unload using a tail lift and pallet truck.
To make sure delivery goes smoothly, your address must have suitable access for an 18-tonne-sized lorry, including safe turning space where required. The drop-off point must be flat, firm and hardstanding, such as concrete, tarmac or similar. Pallet trucks cannot move over gravel, grass, mud, loose stone, steep slopes, uneven ground or soft surfaces.
Delivery is kerbside or nearest suitable hardstanding point only. The courier cannot usually move the pallet into a log store, shed, garage, garden, across a lawn, through gates or up/down drives so please expect kerb-side delivery as standard with any other location being a bonus.
