CHOOSE YOUR FIREWOOD

For Orkney and Mainland Shetland deliveries, you can choose from kiln-dried ash, birch, larch stovewood or mixed hardwood.

Ash is our premium hardwood firewood, giving excellent heat output, a steady flame and a longer-lasting burn.

Birch is a great-value hardwood option that lights easily, burns hot and gives a bright, lively flame.

Larch Stovewood is our best-value island firewood option and is ideal for enclosed wood-burning stoves.

Mixed Hardwood may include alder, birch, ash, sycamore, oak and beech, making it a reliable all-round option for regular use.

CHOOSE YOUR FIREWOOD PACKAGING

For Orkney and Shetland firewood deliveries, customers can choose between two bulk formats: large wooden crates or giant nets, with both options providing around 2m3 of loose logs if tipped from their packaging (roughly equal to around 3 standard builders bulk bags).

Large Firewood Crates are tidy, sturdy and easy to store. They are available in kiln-dried ash or kiln-dried birch.

Giant Nets are a practical, cost-effective bulk option for customers wanting good-value island firewood delivery. They are available in larch stovewood or mixed hardwood.

10" LOG SIZE

10" (25cm) logs are the kiln-dried wood we supply as standard. They are suitable for the vast majority of wood burners & fires & are the size most firewood suppliers provide. Due to the nature of log manufacturing you may find some smaller pieces than 10".

HAVE A SMALLER LOG BURNER?
We can also supply 8" log in our Giant Nets Only - please contact us for this option as £10 surcharge applies.

ABOUT YOUR PALLET DELIVERY

All Orkney and Mainland Shetland firewood orders are sent by freight pallet courier rather than by our local delivery vehicles.

The price shown includes VAT, shipping and delivery to your address. Delivery is usually around 10–14 days from order placement, although island freight can occasionally be delayed by ferry disruption, adverse sea conditions, winter weather or courier network issues.

Your address must have suitable access for an 18-tonne-sized lorry, including safe turning space where required. The drop-off point must be flat, firm and hardstanding, such as concrete or tarmac. Pallet trucks cannot move heavy firewood pallets over gravel, grass, mud, loose stone, slopes, uneven tracks or soft ground.

Please order expecting kerbside or nearest suitable hardstanding delivery as standard.
