As timber species naturally vary throughout the year, the exact composition of your load may differ between deliveries. Some loads may contain a single dominant species, while others may include a mixed hardwood blend. Regardless of the mix supplied, all hardwood logs are chosen for their suitability as premium firewood and their ability to produce consistent, dependable heat.

STOVEWOOD LOGS (LARCH)
Larch Stovewood is a cost-effective alternative for customers looking for excellent heat output and outstanding value for money. We use Larch exclusively rather than mixed softwoods because of its density, strong burning characteristics and reliable performance in wood-burning stoves.

Larch typically ignites quickly, produces an attractive flame and delivers more heat than many other softwood species. Although it burns faster than hardwood, it generally burns hotter and for longer than softwoods such as Pine or Spruce, making it a popular choice for customers seeking an economical fuel source.

For safety and performance reasons, Stovewood is recommended for use in enclosed wood-burning stoves and log burners.

Crane Delivery: Our delivery vehicles are equipped with Hiab cranes, allowing us to place your bulk-bag as close as practical to your log store, driveway or preferred unloading location.

Driveway Access: We generally require a minimum access width of approximately 2.5 metres to safely enter and deliver to your property.

Garages & Covered Areas: If delivery inside a garage, carport or other enclosed space is important, we recommend choosing our Builders Bulk-Bags. Due to their larger dimensions, XL Bulk-Bags may not fit beneath low roofs, doorways or restricted-height structures.
